For middle and high school students, sessions will explain the difference between wanting to be grown and actually being prepared for adulIMG_2063thood by enlightening students about the value of education and how the decisions and choices they make now have a direct correlation to the quality of their adulthood.

Parents will learn how the home environment plays a critical role in their child’s development in addition to receiving other helpful training (i.e. financial management).

For young adults, sessions will teach how to make a smoother transition from dependence to independence. All sessions are high energy and interactive.

“With over 40 presenters from South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, and Texas, ‘Are You Ready to be Grown’ promises to be one of the most comprehensive and effective family conferences you will ever attend,” says Education Matters Founder/Executive Director Donna Moore Wesby. “Each year, the conference has reached its maximum capacity because the topics are so relevant, which is why many people return,” says Wesby. To keep the conference fresh, new conference presenters and topics are added, and presenters are rotated. The conference’s format is such that attendance all day provides for an optimum experience. Registration must be completed in advance.

Registration deadline is July 6, 2017. No exceptions. Don’t wait until the last minute to register. Only 300 slots available. The cost is $15 per person, which includes breakfast, lunch, and all conference materials.
